Breaking news from the Associated Press on Republican Congressman Jerry Lewis (CD 41):
A House aide has been subpoenaed by a grand jury in Los Angeles investigating ties between a lobbyist and Rep. Jerry Lewis, the top Republican on the powerful House Appropriations Committee.
The subpoena went to Greg Lankler, a staffer on the Appropriations Committee's defense subcommittee, according to a House official with knowledge of the subpoena. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the issue publicly.
The subpoena was the first sign of action in months in the investigation of connections between Lewis and lobbyist Bill Lowery, a former congressman whose firm represented a number of towns and businesses in and around Lewis' inland Southern California district.

If I were to spend $900,000 on doing nothing wrong, I would buy a press box suite to see all the Tide games, steaks and lobster for all friends and beautiful companionship. I have an excuse I'm a Redneck, what is Jerry's?
How much more evidence do we need to get rid of Jerry Lewis? Whan an embarassment.
