REDLANDS CITY ELECTIONS UPDATE: Aguilar Secures Impressive List of Endorsements

Appointed incumbent Councilman Pete Aguilar announced the endorsements of Congressman Jerry Lewis, former State Assemblyman Russ Bogh and Redlands Mayor Jon Harrison.
Bogh and Lewis are nice catches considering that Aguilar is a Democrat running in a heavily Republican city like Redlands.
As an aside, I do find the Bogh endorsement incredibly puzzling in light of recent shenanigans at the Republican Convention where the Riverside Taxpayers' Association put out a hit piece on Assemblyman John Benoit likening him to Gray Davis and pillaging him for his support of Gray Davis' 2003 budget.
I say interesting because, Pete Aguilar used to be a Gray Davis staffer and there are two Republicans running for City Council. They would be Henry Nickel and Jeff Sceranka.

I have been told by my friend that there are 2 types of Republicans out there at Sacramento. The one who helps other fellow Republicans but there is still one who helps his own interest only. Evidently, the latter type of Republicans have caused a great damage to our party as a whole. I hope to see more Republican office holders to take greater participation in fostering and supporting next generation of good unselfish Republican leaders.
Good Job.
We have sent in a few hundred dollars to support McCain ticket.
Not in favor of the bailout and all the pork attcahed.
