The SB Insider has learned that San Bernardino City Councilman Neil Derry has scored the services of well-known political consultant Steve Presson in his bid to de-throne incumbent Supervisor Dennis Hansberger and deny him a fifth term on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.

Presson, who adds substantial creditability to the already established Derry camp (he has already retained the services of Mike Richman) is an "A" list consultant with proven talent and a reputation of being a hard-hitting tactician, will put Hansberger to the test. While the race is no shoe-in for either candidate, Presson adds substantial weaponry to the Derry arsenal.

Derry, a popular second-term councilman has announced his candidacy for the board seat, which is up in the June 08' Primary. Presson's arrival onto the scene signals this race is within the reach of the challenger.
