As referenced in the San Bernardino County News Roundup from earlier this morning, San Bernardino County First District Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt - in addition to being an outstanding public servant - is also a student of the piano, having been taught by renowned piano instructor Surojeet Chatterji. The article further notes that Supervisor Mitzelfelt's father, H. Vincent Mitzelfelt, is a doctor whose passion for music led him to conduct musical groups at the Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall.

Note: H. Vincent Mitzelfelt will lead the Windsong Southland Chorale and the Los Angeles Camerata at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Victoria Gardens, in Rancho Cucamonga, at 4 p.m. on May 20. Surojeet Chatterji , is holding a recital for his students at 6 p.m. this Saturday at Hesperia United Methodist Church in Hesperia.
