Sun Takes Another Slap at County

Yesterday I was treated to another lash-out style editorial in the Sun Newspaper. The piece was titled "County book not whole enchilada". Read it here.
After reading the terse composition I walked away with the feeling that whomever wrote the segment routinely had their ice cream taken away from them as a child or at least was a "Lunch Money" kid in high school.
It seems the newspaper is extremely disturbed by the fact that a county publication covering the history of members of the Board of Supervisors and County Executives didn't quite go far enough. The Sun wanted references to corruption affixed to certain referenced individuals. Maybe even a large "X" placed across their respective photographs would suffice.
An editorial page turned book review column is interesting to say the least boys and girls. But is it instead just another sign of desperation for the publication? The departure of publisher Bob Balzer is also an interesting development as well.
On another note, yesterday's local section was a total of six razor thin pages. If you weren't careful you would have missed it. Also, they failed to have a staff reporter at the last three County Board of Supervisors meeting (due to the departure of Jeff Horwitz), an obvious indication of management meltdown.
You know what they say about sinking ships.
