San Bernardino Sun editor Steve Lambert chimed in today on the collaborative efforts of Mayor Pat Morris and Councilman Neil Derry.

Call me petty if you must, but I couldn't resist commenting on one aspect of his editorial:

"The two have been at odds for months over how to spend money from a voter-approved sales-tax increase to fight crime."

It is interesting now that the sales tax increase has passed, that he now refers to the tax increase as a tool to "fight crime".  Before its passage, it was a "police tax".
