First of all, let me say what an honor it is to become a member of the Red County Team. I hope that I can live up to the standard my colleagues have set for me. I have found Red County to be a useful source of information and entertainment when it comes to center right politics in California. I pledge to work to ensure that Red County Sacramento plays an instrumental role in taking this blog to the next level.
For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to read any of my stuff... Where the heck have you been? Just kidding.... Maybe....
I think that the name of my blog pretty much sums it all up. "The Home of Uncommon Sense" is where I comment on faith, family, politics and culture; trying to bring to them a little of what I call "Uncommon Sense". I call it uncommon, because as I am sure you are aware, common sense in not all that common.
As far as my politics, I consider myself a Christian conservative, right-wing black radical. (I know- a bit of an oxymoron. But I is who I is...) I cannot claim...
7. Red County Goes Under the Dome and All Around Sacramento
A lot of blogs try to cover California politics and do a fine job. But if there is anyplace in California that needs the special focus, the insight, and all from a Center-Right perspective, it is Sacramento.
Wherever Red County goes, we quickly become the place for the best insight and inside scoops. Covering Sacramento from the Red County perspective is interesting, because you have both the Capitol news and the local political news of the Sacramento market, which is, after all, the 4th largest media market in California covering over 3 million people.
Red County Sacramento will give you the best of both. Whether it is the latest news from the" Under the Dome," the real deal on the Sacramento Mayor's race, or the latest policy news from cities and counties around the Sacramento region, Red County Sacramento will quickly become your best source for the best info.
The most powerful currency for insiders is information. You'll get the info...
