RUN BABY, RUN: Calling all Massachusetts Republicans!
By Angela F. F. Davis | 03/31/09 | 07:12 PM EDT | 2 Comments
The Democrats in Massachusetts are still playing politics as usual with continuous corruption, the favors-for-friends game, and handouts to Beacon Hill insiders.
You just can't make this stuff up.
Simply read one of the daily political columns in the Boston Herald for the catch-of-the-day corruption. Everyday you can read a new sham by our Governor or the elected officials in his party.
This is playing a major part in the civil unrest we see popping up all over the state. Republicans and Independents are angry. I receive emails on a regular basis from conservative folks asking how they can get involved in the GOP and have a voice. They claim they have been silent for far too long and are sick of the same old Democrat-machine.
So I say "run-baby-run"!
I know you are out there, and I know for sure that many of you are qualified and up to the task.
To facilitate that action, an amazing opportunity has presented itself for any Republican thinking of running for public office in the state of Massachusetts: well known and accomplished Political Strategist Holly Robichaud, along with brilliant WTKK 96.9 FM radio show host Michael Graham are offering a free campaign school session on Saturday April 25, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This campaign school will be hosted at Ken's Steak House in Framingham, MA, and you must email in advance if you are interested in attending: holly@TuesdayAssociates.com
This state is gearing up, and the energy level and enthusiasm to beat Democrats has never been more charged. It is very rare that an opportunity like this, free of charge, allows candidates to hear from two of the brightest and experienced political veterans. Don't miss the opportunity to hear from Robichaud and Graham, and don't forget to email your rsvp or I guarantee you won't be able to get in the door due to standing room only!
Great things are starting to happen in this state, and the day of reckoning is coming!
So run baby, run!

You are absolutely correct that strong Republican candidates are needed. However, the other half of the solution is to GET OUT THE VOTERS, and for that we need to energize the voter base at a grass-roots level and better manage the campaigns. Maybe good candidates alone will energize the voters, but I'm not convinced of that. After all, the Democrats have seized control every branch of govemment in the state while putting corrupt hacks on the ballot. How do they do this? By getting their voters to the polls on election day via their "machine", and that is something that the Republicans need to work harder at doing. Otherwise, the moderates and conservatives of this Commonwealth with have no one but themselves to blame for permitting this one party system to remain. Campaign school should be mandatory.
