RIVERSIDE - Brian Nestande overwhelmed all his primary opponents in the 'money primary' by reaching the elusive $250,000 fundraising threshold.

The momentum in this primary continues to favor Nestande who also has a substantial lead in local and statewide endorsements having received the support of nearly all local Republicans including incumbent Assemblyman John Benoit.

Now the grass roots and business communities have made their choice by investing in the candidate they would like to represent them in the Assembly - Brian Nestande.

Brian is running an inclusive campaign enlisting participation from a broad base of supporters from all backgrounds and economic levels.  His opponent is running a SPECIAL INTEREST campaign raising most of her money from outside the district.

"My family and I are walking precincts and going directly to the voters to earn their support.  I am humbled and honored in the trust that they have placed in me to represent them in Sacramento," said Brian Nestande.

The first quarter also saw the opening of the campaign headquarters in Riverside with full time Campaign Manager Nathan Ossowski, Veteran Political Strategists Carlos Rodriguez and Dave Gilliard, Advisor Mike Richmond, and Finance Director, J. Allen Pitken who had directed numerous fundraising campaigns including Bush Cheney '04, Mitt Romney's Commonwealth PAC and the Giuliani for President Campaign.
