Update on Angel Sanchez, Jr. for State Assembly Campaign
During the last few months, my family has been dealing with some medical issues that have served as a distraction to my campaign. More importantly, they have also served as a reminder to how vital my role as a father, husband, brother and son is to my family today. As a result, I have made a decision to delay my pursuit of the State Assembly until the future. As a person who believes deeply in a strong family commitment, it took a few shots fired across my bow (quoting a friend of mine) for me to realize that while I am passionate about working to make California great, my real passion is with my family and raising my son.
I want to thank all of you who have supported me for the last year. Especially those of you who have donated to my campaign and to the hundreds who have signed up to volunteer. Your support has meant a lot to my family and I. I make this commitment to all of you; while, I will not be seeking the State Assembly in 2008, I will continue to work hard to get good Republicans elected and to make sure that strong Conservative Values are instilled throughout our state and country. To keep this commitment, I have filed papers to run as a member of the Riverside County Central Committee. I hope you will continue to support me in this effort. While going to Sacramento isn't in my immediate plans, I plan to work hard in making sure that good, solid people do.
Thank you again for all of your support.
Sincerely,
Angel Sanchez, Jr.
