Shortly after earning the endorsement of the Riverside County Young Republicans by an overwhelming vote of 35-10 over his opponent Russ Bogh, Assemblyman John J. Benoit continued his surge of support at the recent California Republican Party Convention, winning the statewide endorsement of the Young Republican Federation of California (YRFC).
The Young Republican Federation of California is the state's largest volunteer organization of Young Republicans, with chapters in California's largest counties, including Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego, Riverside, and Sacramento. Members are young professionals between the ages of 18 and 40.
"The Young Republican Federation of California is proud to be the first statewide Republican organization to choose a candidate in the 37th Senate District," said Ben Lopez, Chairman of the YRFC. "John Benoit has proven to be an effective champion of conservative values in Sacramento, and has provided leadership that has inspired Young Republicans across California to support his bid for State Senate."
"John Benoit has been a great friend to the Riverside County Young Republicans, a leader we can count on to be a conservative voice in Sacramento," said Phil Breitenbucher, President of the RCYRs. "His intimate involvement with the Young Republicans has won him our local support and we will be actively supporting his campaign for State Senate."
"I am honored to have the support of effective grassroots groups such as the Young Republicans," responded Assemblyman Benoit. "They are a vibrant conservative voice in state politics and represent the next generation of conservative leaders."
Other early supporters of Benoit for Senate include Governor George Deukmejian, and Campaign Co-Chairs: Supervisors John Tavaglione and Roy Wilson.
Other supporters include: Assembly Republican Leader Mike Villines, Caucus Chair Bob Huff, Jessica's Law Authors Assemblywoman Sharon Runner and Senator George Runner; Senator Roy Ashburn; Assemblymembers Kevin Jeffries, Anthony Adams, Sam Blakeslee, Roger Niello, Alan Nakanishi, Cameron Smyth, Jim Silva, Joel Anderson, Jean Fuller, Mayor and all Councilmembers in the Cities of Indian Wells, Palm Desert, and La Quinta, 4 of 5 City of Perris Councilmembers, 3 of 5 City of San Jacinto Councilmembers, Lake Elsinore School District Superintendent Dr. Frank Passarella and the entire School Board, recently retired Desert Sands Unified School District Superintendent, Doris Wilson, and the California Police Chiefs Association.

"John Benoit has proven to be an effective champion of conservative values in Sacramento" Get real.
Ripley wouldn't even believe that!
Benoit's the sellout that voted for the 2003 Gray Davis budget that tripled the Car Tax, stole the Gas Tax money from our freeways so the liberals could increase welfare, expand government provided healthcare, and continue to provide in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, AND he twice voted to spend $100 million of taxpayer money to fund abortions.
Those aren't conservative values. They are Hillary Clinton's valued, Ted Kennedy's values, and let's not forget...Gray Davis' values.
"A lie told often enough becomes truth." -Lenin (Vladimir Ulyanov)
The only people who have a problem telling the truth about Benoit's vote for the 2003 budget are John Benoit himself, and his staffers that seem to do a lot of campaigning while on the Assembly payroll at taxpayer expense.
Anyone who wants to see for themselves that Benoit sold out Riverside County and voted for Gray Davis' last liberal budget that tripled the Car Tax needs only to go to

The facts speak louder and clearer than perpetual spin coming from Benoit's ethically challenged lemmings.
Another sell-out endorsement by the YRFC. Is anyone shocked? After the Romney endorsement, I'm certainly not.
