I don't know how I got on this uber-leftist email list, but it serves as a great "do-the-opposite" guide to state issues and they send out really timely updates. Also reminds all of us to be careful who you hand your business card out to.
That said, today's update had a little blurb about the possiblility of our own Southwest Riverside County State Senator, Dennis Hollingsworth, being named the new Senate Republican Leader.
Hollingsworth is a movement conservative and his staff is top notch. Good luck Dennis.

SACRAMENTO (CDCAN) - A change is also coming to the Senate Republican Leader position, currently held by Dick Ackerman (Republican - Tustin) who will also be termed out at the end of the 2008 legislative session.Possible successors include Dave Cogdill, George Runner and Dennis Hollingsworth.

Sen. Hollingworth is the best choice for Senate Leader. As a movement conservative, he lead the fight against RINO Charlene Zettle in his Senate race. Many people counted him out but with a strong conservative message he kept a conservative seat in conservative hands.
The party needs him as Senate Leader.
