Palm Desert Mayor and Entire City Council Endorse Brian Nestande for Assembly

The Nestande for Assembly campaign continues to gain strength and momentum throughout the 64th Assembly District and is proud to announce the endorsement of all five members of the Palm Desert City Council: Mayor Jean M. Benson, Mayor Pro Tem Robert A. Spiegel, and Council Members Jim Ferguson, Cindy Finnerty, and Richard S. Kelly.
"Brian Nestande is a proven business and community leader who will stand up for local government in Sacramento. I am confident that he will be an effective advocate for not only Palm Desert but for all cities and local governments," said Mayor Jean M. Benson.
"I am honored to have earned the trust and endorsement of all 5 members of the Palm Desert City Council. While working on both Sonny and Mary Bono's congressional staff in Washington DC, and as a businessman in the Coachella valley, I have had the opportunity to work with the Council on various projects, and I look forward to working with them as their Assemblyman," replied Brian Nestande.
A Riverside County Resident for nearly 15 years, Brian Nestande has established a stellar reputation in the Inland Empire as a successful businessman and a proven political leader. He will replace termed out Assemblyman John J. Benoit.
The Palm Desert City Council joins Congresswoman Mary Bono, 64th District Assemblyman John J. Benoit, Senator Dennis Hollingsworth, and Riverside County Supervisors Marion Ashley, John Tavaglione and Roy Wilson in endorsing Brian Nestande for Assembly.
