The Benoit for Senate campaign continues to attract significant support and is proud to announce the endorsement of The California Police Chiefs Association.
The California Police Chiefs Association is dedicated to serving over 1,000 municipal active and retired police chiefs and seconds-in-command in this state. Overall, they are responsible for providing first line police services to over three quarters (77%) of California's population.
"We are extremely proud to unanimously endorse Assemblyman Benoit because he has always exemplified the highest standards both during his 31 year law enforcement career, and in his current role as state legislator. His commitment to law enforcement is unmatched and his practical experience enables him to identify and act on issues that truly impact the well being of all Californians. He is a problem solver who has always put public safety first. He will be a great State Senator," said Chief Richard Ward, President of the Police Chiefs Association.
"The California Chiefs of Police Association is the pre-eminent public safety organization in the state. I am proud to count several past presidents, and many other members as former colleagues and personal friends - which makes their endorsement even more humbling. I have enjoyed being able to help them in the Assembly and I look forward to being their voice in the Senate," responded Benoit.
