Bob Richmond Elected New Riverside GOP Chairman

Tonight the Riverside County Republican Party elected a new Chairman. Former Lake County Republican Party member, Bob Richmond is a 51-year-old lifetime Republican who is best known in Riverside County for his work last year helping organize the desert cities Republican clubs to defend Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia's 80th Assembly District seat.
It is worth noting that Riverside Republican Party Chairman has seemed to be a stepping stone to bigger and better things for several local GOPers such as the immediate past Chairman, Jeff Miller, who is running for the 71st Assembly District; Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries and Congressman Ken Calvert to name a few.
Just a few months ago, Richmond was elected Vice-chairman of the RPRC and he started his chairmanship with a big donation for the party that I will post about soon.
Congratulation to our new Chairman.
The speaker for the evening was the always entertaining Larry Greenfield, Director for the California Republican Jewish Coalition. He talked about the need to be clear in our war against Muslim Jihadist and how historically Democrat Presidents like Franklin Roosevelt and Jimmy Carter let Saudi Arabia and Iran respectively become radicalized. Greenfield pointed out that none of the Democrats even use the word "Jihadist" anymore.
On the economic front, Greenfield renamed trickle down economics, "rise-up economics," because they will help poor and middle class citizens to have job opportunities. The whole thing was informative and he even received encouragement from the crowd to run for Senate against Barbara Boxer. After pointing out that Boxer really isn't that popular and has never won with a percentage higher than the low 50's - he politely declined.
