Protection Agency issued fines and conditions Wednesday in a continuing effort
to clean up what have been described as squalid conditions at some mobile home
parks on the Torres-Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indian Reservation near Thermal.

Bond snub? -- P-E
Good to hear that Gov.
Schwarzenegger is anxious to spend transportation bond money on projects to ease
congestion in California. The governor
would do well to allocate the next round of Prop. 1B money in close partnership
with local transportation experts, instead of fast-tracking projects from
Sacramento.
