Russ Bogh has earned the endorsement of the Corona Taxpayers Association in his bid for the California State Senate.

“In the State Assembly Russ Bogh proved himself as a tax fighter,” said Ken Minesinger of the Corona Taxpayers Association.  “Our community needs a Senator that will stand up against the liberals in Sacramento who only want to grow government and raises the taxes of hard working Californians.  That’s why we are proud to support Russ Bogh for the State Senate.”

From 2001 until 2006 Russ Bogh represented the 65th Assembly District in the State Legislature.  He was recognized in the Assembly as a true conservative who fought for balanced budgets, fiscal accountability, and lower taxes.

“I am honored to have the support of the Corona Taxpayers Association,” Bogh said.  “When I was first ran for the Assembly I vowed never to raise taxes and I remained true to that pledge while in office.  If I have the privilege of serving in the State Senate, I will continue the fight to lower taxes and I will never vote to raise taxes.”

The Corona Taxpayers Association joins the growing list of supporters of Bogh’s Senate bid.  The list includes Former Governor Pete Wilson, Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley, District Attorney Rod Pacheco, Republican Caucus Chairman, Assemblyman Bob Huff, Beaumont Mayor Jeff Fox, Hemet Mayor Marc Searl, Perris Mayor Darryl Busch, Norco Mayor Harvey Sullivan, Hemet Councilman Eric McBride and San Jacinto Mayor Jim Ayres, San Jacinto Councilmembers John Mansperger and Dale Stubblefield. In addition to the California Association of Highway Patrolmen, the California Fire Chiefs Association and the Associated Builders and Contractors.
