BEAUMONT --- Hemet Mayor Marc Searl has endorsed conservative Republican Russ Bogh in the race for California’s 37th Senate District.

â€œRuss Bogh was one of the best friends the people of Hemet had in the Legislature,” Mayor Searl said.  “Russ always put the interests of his constituents first and was always a strong vote for fiscal accountability, personal responsibility, and public safety.  We definitely need Russ Bogh back in Sacramento.”

From 2001 until 2006, Russ Bogh represented the City of Hemet in the Assembly, as the representative for the 65th Assembly District.

â€œI am honored to have the support of Mayor Searl,” Bogh said.  “For nearly six years it was my distinct pleasure to represent the people of Hemet in the Assembly.  It would be a great honor to represent them and their interests again in the State Senate.”

Mayor Marc Searl joins the Riverside Sheriff’s Association, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Corona Police Officers Association, Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia, Former Governor Pete Wilson, Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley, the Association of California Highway Patrolmen, Assemblyman Bob Huff, San Jacinto Councilmember Jim Ayres, John Mansperger and Dale Stubblefield along with many others in supporting Bogh’s bid for the State Senate.
