Hey Neil, Drive East on the 91

Posted by: Phil Paule | 05/16/2007 8:08 AM

At the Riverside County Republican Party meeting this Thursday Costa Mesa  Mayor Allan Mansoor  is the guest speaker.   In the spirit of being green this would be a great opportunity for some of the Orange County candidates for the 71st Assembly District like Neil Blais  to car pool out to the Mission Inn  and meet real Riverside Republicans.

It must be frustrating to the OC candidates for the 71st to see Corona Councilman Jeff Miller ( Paule Consulting Client) every time they turn around at a GOP gathering behind the Orange Curtain.  What really must have Blais and others reaching for the Tums is to see OC political heavyweights like Rep. Ed Royce support Jeff Miller over the all the Orange County Candidates.  My advice to Neil and the gang- plug in your GPS to the electrical outlet in your car and enter in ""Mission Inn"", we Republicans meet there once a month, but save some of those Tums ,you will need them when the June 30th fundraising reports come out.

I am sure Team Blais is putting all thier eggs in the "Choi and Ledesma drop out and the self funder from Norco gets in" basket.

It isn't likely.

King and Country said:

Miller is clearly the most qualified in this race. Obviously business owner, GOP Chairman, Corona Mayor, but he knows the district better then anyone having lived in both OC and Riverside County. These other guys probably can't even spell Corona or Norco. Have they even been out here?

Destination Mission Inn said:

Nope. Not one of them.

I bet they all three show up on Thurs. night and bring Phil the Tums.

I would love to see all three show up, again I would suggest car pooling. Keep the tums, with the COH that Miller is going to show I won't need them.

Gee Phil, is your stomach so upset that you need the OC guys to give you medical treatment? I guess the realization that your candidate is in big trouble is getting to you. I find it interesting that you single out Blais. Clearly you believe he is a threat, and you are right. He is the frontrunner and your boy knows it. I also know that Blais has established a pretty decent support base among many key New Majority and Lincoln Club members, people I know. They clearly know who the frontrunner is, and who the real conservative is. And it is not your union lacky Miller.

As a neutral observer, it really rubs me the wrong way that Phil seems to be using this blog to attack the opponent of a candidate his wife works for. Maybe you should take a break from covering this race.

Neil a threat ???? Har dee har har

Political wimp yes....and my wife usually works for the winner.

Well Phil, is that why Miller had to hire a new fundraising consultant?

Oh, by the way, Blais went two for two today in the OC. Go check out your companion OC Blog. After looking at the list of names on his finance committee, it is apparent that Blais is cornering the market on OC fundraising. He'll make much more with those guys than Miller will selling box seats at Ducks playoff games, especially now that the season is over. Miller is in deep trouble.

Last time I check, Julie Paule is the finance director of Jeff Miller. What does need new consultants is some of theses city incorporation efforts in Riverside County.

I hope they get someone that knows how to count fire stations soon.

Preoccupied Phil? said:

Looks like Phil is so busy worrying about counting fire stations that he lost the ability to write a proper English sentence. Isn't speaking usually a precursor to counting?

And what does that have to do with his own original post that started this thread?
