Today the United States Supreme Court, in a 5-4 vote, ruled to uphold the ban on Partial Birth Abortion.  The 2003 Partial Birth abortion ban that President Bush signed into law bans an abortion procedure that can only be described as gruesome.  The majority opinion penned by Justice Anthony Kennedy cites that the ban is constitutional even though there is not an exception for the health of the mother.  "The law need not give... read more »

Planned Parenthood

A March 30 press release from Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles hightlights the fact that Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was given the "Hero Award" for "his support of Planned Parenthood's mission and contribution to the defeat in November of Prop 85, a parental notification measure that endangered the health of teens.
