Letter from Jewish Students Condemning MSU Hate

Dear Community Members:
In the upcoming week the pro-Israeli Students of the University of California, Irvine will witness acts of hatred from fellow students. Ringroad, a main road on UCI's campus, will have a makeshift wall which will have pictures, articles, and a bloodied Israeli flag that blames Israel and Jews for a so-called Palestinian Holocaust in Israel.
As Jewish community members, you are an important source of support to us students on campus. Thus, we believe it is pertinent that you are informed of the event taking place from May 12 until May 16th that the Muslim Student Union has decided to name, "Never Again? The Palestinian Holocaust."
We appreciate your help throughout the year and relate to your devout support for Israel and its causes. This year, while we disagree with the MSU theme, we on campus have agreed to be respectful and peaceful in accordance to Jewish values.
With this in mind, we hope that our response is seen as appropriate and that we can expect a shared view with you.
Thank you.
