So what do Islamists do when they are severely weakened? They launch an international campaign to sucker bleeding heart liberals into believing the America and Israel are responsible for despair in the Muslim world. Why do I bring this up? Because on tomorrow at 12 pm in the Student Center Terrace at UCI, the Muslim Student Union will be featuring one of their big guns, racist bigot Imam Muhammad Al-Asi. Al-Asi will give a talk entitled "From Auchwitz to Gaza" most likely comparing the holocaust to the current situation to Gaza. Apparently Hamas has nothing to do with the gross mismanagement and lack of political solution there. And as always, Islamists like Al-Asi don't care about the holocaust, and instead will make false comparisons to blame Jews for any Palestinian misfortune. Accuse me of prejudging, but Al-Asi's hatred of Jewry is well documented. In one lecture he was filmed saying:

If you look at the bottom photo, the MSU on their billboard begs their viewers to sympathize with Gaza. What they really mean is to sympathize with Hamas, as Israel has been committed to Palestinian nationhood.

Just more evidence of the virulent anti-Semitism which pervades UCI. To allow Islamic extremists to draw this sickening comparison is to stand idly by while the good name of the only democracy in the Middle East is continually defamed. Shame, Anteaters.
As one who has visited Auschwitz, I find any comparison to Gaza to be sickening. Palestinians in Gaza are killing themselves, something European Jews did not do.

I have to wonder if the MSU's "Genocide in Gaza" poster violated any of Section 42.20:
http://dos.uci.edu/judicial/uci_policy.php#42.20
There's lots of little key details that might have been violated, such as - but not limited to:
- location ("D. Prohibited Posting Surfaces and Distribution Areas / 1. The ground, paths, and walkways.")
- did they denote this was a MSU posting? ("E. Literature Posting and Distribution Regulations / 1. All literature and printed materials, both those written in English and those written in another language, must clearly show the name of the sponsoring person or registered organization in English.")
- did they put on a removal date? ("E. 3. All literature and printed materials which do not refer to a specific event or date must bear a removal date not to extend beyond the last day of the academic quarter.")
- was this larger than 5' x 3'? were there any other MSU posters in the area? ("E. 5. Only one poster, flyer, or banner per event is allowed in each posting area. Unless otherwise approved, banner size may not exceed 5 feet by 3 feet.")
