Deputy DA Nick Dourbetas just announced that his boss, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas has endorsed his candidacy for Superior Court Judge in 2010.

“Nick has worked for me as a Deputy District Attorney for over 10 years during which time I have entrusted him to handle many serious cases including prosecuting gang members in the elite TARGET Unit,” said Rackauckas. “I am confident that he will uphold public safety while bringing a fair and balanced approach to the bench.” 

Dourbetas also has the support of a bi-partisan group of higher elected officials including Congessmen Royce and Rohrabacher, Senators Lou Correa and Mimi Walters and thirty sitting Superior Court Judges.
