Political Whispers, Whitman Fundraiser Blows Up
By Sgt. York | 06/16/09 | 02:26 PM EDT | 1 Comment
A GOP Blog caught wind of a Whitman fundraiser blowing up.
Apparently, Whitman was having an EBay reunion event. It got cancelled - the alleged reason was over her sorta support of Prop 8.

If you read between the lines - it would seem that Whitman's campaign could not decide to call it a fundraiser or a reunion - they tried both... kind of like Whitman's stances on so many issues.
Further - given the past information coming out about EBay cleaning up after Whitman's management, seeing something like this coming out makes me wonder if EBay would re-hire her...
Meanwhile, Romney and his people (see also McCain) are steadily muscling into leadership positions inside the GOP. Small problem - both Whitman and Romney need real people to vote for them - not just the establishment.
hmmm... it is becoming clear. Maybe it is time to rent another horse?

Meg's spinning will be used against her, as it should, by the Dems. Voters are sick of the priveleged few when it comes to lack of ethics which leads to participation in things like the 'spinning' that contributed to her fortune which she now intends to buy the governship with. Mary Bono, who has endorsed her, feels Tom Campbell is not a valid candidate because he does not have Meg's money. Sorry, Mary...Tom has something money can't buy; Ethics.
