Aaron Klein Announces New Website to Keep Public Informed About Sierra College Issues

Just over the transom from the recently re-elected Sierra College Trustee Aaron Klein, a new website designed, in his words, to keep the community better connected to college issues.

ROCKLIN -- Trustee Aaron Klein will be sworn in for his second term on the Sierra College Board of Trustees today at 4:00PM, and used the occasion to launch a new web site at www.AaronKlein.com to help connect the community at large with college issues and priorities.
The web site has several key functions to help foster this connection:

This section will provide a library of documents and presentations in electronic format so that community members can read the agenda, review the minutes and watch presentations, even if they can't attend the board meetings in person.
· Let's Hear from You (www.aaronklein.com/connect)
Each page on the site has a box allowing community members to ask questions, provide feedback, or share ideas on how Sierra College can better align its decisions with their priorities, laying the groundwork for a two-way conversation about the future of our community college.
· E-Mail Updates (www.aaronklein.com/connect)
Community members can check a box to sign up for e-mail updates on the issues and priorities at Sierra College, which will keep them connected, and help drive the two-way conversation as board meetings occur and progress is made on college issues.
"We have accomplished a great deal since we began this agenda for change four years ago, and Sierra College is headed in the right direction," said Trustee Aaron Klein. "With this new web site, it is my hope that we can use the power of the Internet to connect our citizens with their community college, and create a two-way conversation that will help us build a stronger Sierra College, and a more prosperous community for all."
Elected in 2004, Trustee Aaron Klein represents the entire Sierra Community College District comprised of Placer County, Nevada County, and parts of Sacramento and El Dorado County.
