I was pleasantly surprised to read that Democrat candidate Charlie Brown has not yet endorsed Barack Obama. Now Brown is even refusing to say whether or not he will vote for Obama (whom Rush Limbaugh jokingly calls "the Messiah"). Perhaps before the cock crows, Charlie Brown will thrice deny ever knowing Barack Obama or associating with his supporters. When the folks at Politico.com asked him if he would want Obama to campaign for him, Charlie Brown reportedly said "I'd like to see both McCain and Obama come to the district and have a debate out here rather than ignore California." This is great political theater, but we all know that John McCain would sweep the floor with Charlie Brown! Of course, Charlie Brown is not really fooling anyone, not even the media. That's what makes these theatrics so hilarious to watch. He is a liberal Democrat, his supporters are liberal Democrats, and he will vote with the liberal Democrats if we are crazy enough to send him to Congress. Fortunately, that won't happen.
