Rocklin USD Board Member Steve Paul Uncensored

First off - Mark Klang blasted a new e-mail to throngs of people...
Steve Paul responded with the following retort -
Blogger's Note: Mr. Paul - what are you doing!?
Tonight at 7:00 pm at the Rocklin Unified School District offices, both Congressional candidates Tom McClintock and Charlie Brown will take on the teacher's union controlled Rocklin school board over the denial of the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (www.wscacademy.org) charter. Newspapers and TV stations will be there to record the action, shouldn't you?
All elected officials in Rocklin support the WSCA charter, except the teacher's union dominated school board led by the incompetent Steve Paul (took $6,000 from union in last election and is paying it back with WSCA denial). The Rocklin City Council support is led by Councilman Scott Yuill who is on the WSCA advisory board. State Assemblyman Ted Gaines is a strong supporter who will also speak tonight at the meeting. Congressman John Doolittle has been a supporter from the beginning of the WSCA effort but is unable to attend.
Steve Paul responded with the following retort -
Good Morning Boys,
Hope you're both doing great this morning.
Just wanted to give you an update about last night.
Didn't see any TV Stations or Newspapers. Sorry Rocket Doc- Guess you don't have the Juice you think you do.
Oh Mark, your new pal Charlie Brown didn't make it either. Oh well.
Rocket Doc, I'm assuming when you say that all elected's in Rocklin support WSCA, you're talking about the City Council. I didn't know you were in so tight with those guys. Last time I checked they think both of you are ding dongs.
You two make it a great day ok?
Steve
Oh by the way.....How's the recall coming along?

I think the people of Rocklin understand they made a mistake re-electing Steve Paul. Lets not forget that Todd Lowell, Wendy Lang, Camille Maben, and Greg Daley are all anti school choice. Ask all these board members and they will tell you they know what is better for your children than you do.
I think if you asked some of our Republican elected officials and most members of the central committee, they would agree they made a mistake endorsing Paul and Lowell in 2006. Lets not make the same mistake this year. Do not be fooled by I know more than you do about your child, Greg Daley, when he asks for the Republican endorsement.
Aaron:
Thank you for posting the e-mail that came from Mr. Klang and his supporter, "the rocket doc." I think their e-mail provides a little context for Mr. Paul's e-mail and your posting of both provides that context.
I'm sure Mr. Paul is sick and tired of the personal attacks by Mr. Klang and Mr. "rocket doc" ... ever since the people of Rocklin removed Mr. Klang from the school board, he has lashed out at everyone in town he blames for that removal. He was removed from office -- and defeated handily in his follow-up run with a Democrat -- because people had tired of his negativity.
His sidekick, the rocket doc, isn't much different. He most famously said Rocklin students were so stupid they couldn't count change at Taco Bell (Oct. 25, 2006 Placer Herald -- Klang apologized for that because it was an election.)
It would be better not to respond to the barrage from Klang/doc, but apparently Mr. Paul had had enough.
There is, frankly, little truth to Mr. Klang's e-mail. They said TV and newspapers were going to show up. None did. They said Charlie Brown was going to show up. He didn't. They claim the Rocklin City Council supports the effort to create the WSCA -- where is the evidence of that?
They said the school board was in the pocket of the teacher's union -- then Klang/doc showed up and heard the teacher's union tear the board apart for not caving into the union's salary demands.
Public officials like Mr. Paul shouldn't have to be called names at every turn in thousands of e-mails and on websites sent around the city ... as I said, it would have been better if Mr. Paul had hit delete rather than send this e-mail. But if I were Mr. Paul, I'd be a little angry and fed up, too.
For the record, supporters of WSCA knew that Charlie Brown was not going to be there. He is out of town but provided a letter of support.
