Time to move on to the fall...

I was at the Placer GOP Victory party last night for the duration. I arrived at the Country Club at 6pm and did not leave until 11pm. It did not feel like a raucous victory party, I think myself and everyone there felt a sense of relief that it was "over".
After fighting in the trenches for 7 months now - I feel more of a sense of relief.
I have decided against going into in-depth analysis on the 4th CD race. I will make a few comments here and then that is it.
Doug Ose attempted to buy the seat and proved that he was willing to say and do whatever it took regardless of ethics to win. He Lost... Nothing more needs to be said.
We have a Democrat with $1Million who thinks he can win the 4th CD seat. I think his has been drinking toxic levels of Kool-Aid and we should take up a collection for him to begin therapy.
McClintock still got more votes than Brown in the primary. The DCCC is going to take a long look at that.
We need to unify behind Bruce Kranz and get him the resources he needs to beat the Sierra Club and Jennifer Moonbat. Bob Houston made his statement and finished a distant third - the Republicans that voted for Houston need to be bruoght back home.
My Hat is off to Dan Logue - Dan is true-blue for our values and will be an excellent Assemblyman.
What should we do now? Enjoy some summer parties and save up some money and time for Tom McClintock and Bruce Kranz.

Aaron
Congrats on your guy winnning. The general now offers up some good candidates on both sides. Both are of very good character and will articulate well their thoughts as how to deal with issues.
And both will leave the Kool-Aid drinking and the resultant sound bites to their surrogates, don'tcha think?
Hey Aaron, I had been working on a state Assembly campaign down here in the Sacramento area that was taking up a lot of my political time, but now that that has ended I would love to help out Tom. If you could, can you shoot me an e-mail to let me know who to get in contact with? cahsfeedback at yahoo.com. I apologize for posting this here but I don't know if I have your current e-mail. Thanks!
