When you can't get Central Committees to drink your Kool-Aid, attack them. Nice Job Sue Horne, the following is a press release whining about the Yuba and Butte Central Committee's negative reaction to Horne's Campaign behavior.
Apparently, Horne does not think that Central Committees are capable of independent thought. Ask Nevada County about how much support Horne has given that committee since she has been a supervisor...
Logue Abusing Republican Central Committee Rules
(Chico) - Dirty Dan Logue continues to shamelessly abuse the rules. When the Rice family told their story about Logue abusing eminent domain to try and steal their farm, instead of apologizing, Dan Logue has been secretly arranging Republican Central Committee meetings to get phony 'censure' rulings against Sue Horne.
Several Logue-owned Republican Central Committees have held hastily arranged, unannounced meetings where only Logue supporters were informed and encouraged to attend. Horne supporters were not given proper notice, nor were any pro-Horne discussion allowed.
"Dan Logue is running a sham campaign, and his manipulation of the local Central Committees is utterly shameful," said Horne spokesman Tim Clark. "Logue's secret meetings deny the democratic process, and these phony 'censure' motions are simply Dan Logue creations."
"Angry Central Committee members have contacted us to complain about being excluded from these secret meetings," continued Clark. "We're going to let the voters know about Logue's dirty ways and manipulation of the system. And, Logue still refuses to apologize or even speak with the Rices, whose farm Logue tried to steal."
"Voters have heard from the Rice family directly about what happened to them," said Clark. "The mail contained the Rice family's own words. They're finally able to tell their story. Dan Logue refuses to address their plight, and instead he is playing political games to confuse the issue."
"Logue would make a good Democrat," concluded Clark. "First, he has no problem taking people's property or taxes. Then, he has no problem abusing the rules for his own personal gain. That explains why he's so unpopular in his own county. Maybe he should just go ahead and switch parties now."
