Republican Primary: We wouldn't call Tom McClintock a carpetbagger, exactly, but his decision to run for the District 4 house seat looks a lot like cherry picking. Doug Ose, meanwhile, isn't a resident of the district either, but as a resident and former representative of neighboring District 3, he's at least more familiar with the needs of area residents and the halls of Congress. Recommendation: Doug Ose.
