Doug Ose's Contempt for Life

In the effort to punch any hole they can in Tom's Armor - Ose supporters attempted to suggest that McClintock supports Human Cloning. Meanwhile - Charlie Brown is getting a free pass. What has been established is that Tom McClintock was endorsed by the Eagle Forum, the National Right to Life and the California Republican Assembly. (the CRA) These three endorsements represent three organizations that rarely, if ever endorse someone who is soft on the life issue.
Ose, however helped pave the way for the California Supreme Court Legalizing Gay Marriage. (HR 3313, Roll Call #410, July 2004 - Marriage Protection Act - Voted No.)
Ose, also helped pave the way for destroying human life in the name of science - we are not talking cloning, but rather taking conceived embryos and "harvesting" the cells for research. This is called embryonic stem-cell research.
HR 4682, 108th Congress - Co-Sponsored a bill to provide for Embryonic Stem Cell Research. California's stem cell proposition that passed was modeled after this creation out of the mind of Doug Ose.
Destroying embryos is a waste of tax dollars in the name of Abortion. Embryonic stem cell research has produced no significant breakthrough. Adult stem cells, which do not require killing a life to get, have yielded many breakthroughs.
Ose, once again placed his social agenda ahead of science and the taxpayers. (Just like he did when he voted against oil drilling four separate times in four separate areas of the US - if you think Charlie Brown is going to vote to drill ANWR... look at his Prius.)
Ose also voted to use tax dollars to pay for abortions:
By voting to repeal prohibition against Military medical facilities performing abortions - June 1999, May 2000, May 2003, May 2004
By voting to to repeal prohibition of abortion coverage in federal employee health plans - July 1999, July 2000
Are you starting to read that Ose attacks along these lines are absurd? If you think Charlie Brown will vote any differently, you will have another thing coming. When Pelosi and the Democrat Base start breathing down his neck - he will have no "choice".

Just to make sure, Ose had a second chance - a clone of the Human Cloning ban re-appeared... HR 534, Roll Call #39, Feb 2003 - Ose Voted No.
Once again, we have a case of the facts dooming Ose.

The CA Supreme Court is trying to force Gay Marriage on us - Ose Voted against the Defense of Marriage Amendment
Ose wasted our tax dollars on bunk science and voted to use our tax dollars to pay for abortions for federal employees and soldiers.
Now- do you understand why Ose spent $1.8 Million on Per Diem attacks against McClintock? Ose can not discuss the issues - because his record says, "I am a Liberal".
Meantime - Ose has gone on Tilt, shifting to fratricidal attacks against McClintock. It seems that Ose is content to do damage now that polls show him in a distant second, thereby assisting Charlie Brown in the fall.

File this and some of my other posts under the category of people who throw bricks in glass houses.
Tom Votes no on redundant state Programs or tax increases and gets attacked for supporting the opposite of his record.
What I mean by the "Bricks" argument is that your Dad and Mr. Lungren called Ose a Conservative while he has a D+ from NRA, 32% from Nat'l Right to life etc... Oops!
Or Ose attacks McClintock over Per Diem while he has taken now $694,000 in Farm Subsidies (Updated to reflect FY06 added). Ted Gaines takes his per diem to support his family as well - is Gaines a crook, too? (The glass house) Is Cox a Crook? LaMalfa?
Or Ose attacks McClintock for supporting Cloning, and here he is twice voting against a cloning ban on the federal level. Tossing Bricks in the Glass House.
That's the ball game - that and I was thanking Ose once again for $4 a gallon gas while I was at it. (And Gay Marriage, and using my tax money to pay for abortion... I digress ;-) )
If the polls show Ose down so much, why don't you share them with us all?
I continue to hear around DC that Brown already is beating McClintock by 5 points (52-47), and with the DCCC sitting on $44 million to spread around the country, you can guarantee they'll be playing BIGTIME in the 4th CD.

I think after Senator McClintock has a double-digit victory in the primary after weathering a $2 million assault, the DCCC will find a lot of better races where they can spend that money!

Also, if you're naive enough to think the DCCC won't invest money into this race, all you need to do is look at what they did against Doolittle.
I reiterate Tom Davis' point - they have $44 MILLION (and counting) to spend nationwide. Most races don't cost as much as CA media markets do, so for them to drop $1 million to get Brown elected isn't farfetched at all. If you add it up, they can drop $1 million in 44 races around the country and not break a sweat because all their incumbents have HUGE piles of cash. www.opensecrets.org

You would not believe me if I told you, but I know it has been shared with those who can communicate to Mr. Ose that this race is over.
All his attacks do now is help the Democrats in the fall.

If the race is over John why is TMC still sending out mailers aginst Doug and not taking Brown to task?
Patience my friend, patience. In case you have not noticed, Mr. Ose continues to level attacks, so we take nothing for granted until 8:00pm on June 3rd!
However, a BIG problem that Doug now has is that votes that have already been cast via absentee ballot, at record levels I might point out, cannot be changed by his late attacks.

Well, John has convinced me with his phantom poll numbers. I guess it's time to pack it in. Even though he has not shown a shred of any evidence, we can trust that he's telling us the truth and that the McClintock camp has all the evidence that this race is over. So, now, as good republicans, we need to abandon our campaign and support Tom McClintock so as not to help Charlie Brown.
Nice try McWorshipper. This race is far from over and you know it. Otherwise we'd see some evidence beyond the secretive, cigar smoke filled back-room "I know it has been shared with those who can communicate to Mr. Ose that this race is over". OK Deepthroat. B.S.
BTW, since we are citing nonexistent poll numbers, I'll add my own - Ose owns a 70-30 lead right now and McClintock is just staying in the race out of spite and to help the democrats in the fall. In fact, Tom is a closet liberal and really just wants all republicans other than himself to lose. Ose has, in fact, already won this race. Of course, I have no evidence of this, but hey when has that stopped any of the McWorshippers on this site?
