Why I am Voting for Mitt

Admittedly it has taken me awhile to decide whom I will support for president. I have had the opportunity to meet and ask questions of a number of candidates including Mike Huchabee, Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney. Over many months I have had concerns with each of the candidates.
My concern with Mitt Romney was his apparent flip-flop on a variety of social issues. I have watched many of the debates and I have watched Mitt defend his positions. I am now comfortable that Mitt will stand firm on his stated positions.
I was also concerned about Mitt's health care system he set up in Massachusetts. Again, after watching the debates, I am comfortable Mitt trusts in freedom and the American people rather than government.
What made me finally decide to get off the couch was watching the last debate with Senator McCain's arrogance and stubbornness in insisting Mitt believes in "timetables" for withdrawal.
While I applaud John McCain's military service and his incredible sacrifice, I believe Senator McCain is a perfect example of what is wrong with Washington- arrogant, self-serving and out-of-touch. It is time to clean up Washington, get rid of the deadwood and bring in fresh blood, new ideas, and a new vision. President Mitt Romney will do that.
