My son is getting a new road bike, among other things.

My daughter is getting a "Song Station" karaoke machine because, as she will tell you, she is going to be the next American Idol.

My wife is getting exactly what she wants, and in some cases, exactly what she bought for herself and gave to me to give her...hey, I've been married for 15 years, I'm no dummy.

The gifts already under the tree for me from my family look strangely like th new 3-wood and Sky Caddie golf GPS unit that I asked for.  Wonder how that happened?

All that's left is to complete our Christmas wishes for the Red County Placer crew:

For Aaron Park: I hope he gets all twelve items off of the Eric Hogue, "Twelve Days of Christmas" list.

For Ken Campbell: I hope John Doolittle votes against an earmark.

For Tom Hudson: What I know he wants, higher Republican voter registration.

For Dave Gilliard: Wins in both 4th districts.

For Ray McNally and Richard Temple: A win in Rocklin's Measure H to make up for a loss in the 4th Congressional.

For the WPUSD - A winning lottery ticket.

For Western Sierra Collegiate Academy - A charter.

For Mark Klang - A private dinner with Ted Gaines.

For Ted Gaines - NOT a dinner with Mark Klang.  Oh yeah, and the courage to jump into the 4th C.D. race with both feet.

For Karen Egland - Qualifying the Save Our Kids Referendum.

And finally, of course, for John Doolittle:  I wish that someone would give him a good, very high-paying private sector job so that he has the financial where withal to do the right thing and announce he is not running for re-election, without having to worry how he will pay his legal bills.

Merry Christmas to all!  I may be on a lighter blogging schedule for the next week or so.  I will probably do the daily roundup, maybe not every day, and maybe not as early every day.  We shall see.  Just don't be surprised if it is not on here one day in the next week...I probably went skiing that day!
