Save Our Kids Campaign Petitions Ready
Thousands of petitions requested by California voters
The Save our Kids Campaign announces that petitions for the SB 777 referendum have been printed and are now ready for circulation.
SB 777 is the new law that will demand elevation of controversial lifestyles in all teaching instruction in California public schools.
"Since we announced the referendum campaign two weeks ago, we have received over 40,000 requests for petitions to overturn SB 777," said Capitol Resource Family Impact executive director Karen England. CRFI is the values advocacy group managing the SB 777 referendum campaign. England is the official proponent of the referendum.
"A broad coalition of legislators, pro-family organizations and concerned citizens has already joined the referendum campaign," stated England. "Campaign co-chairs include Assemblymembers Joel Anderson, Bob Huff, Doug LaMalfa and Sharon Runner, as well as Senator George Runner."
"Earlier this week the campaign gained the support of Focus on the Family, the most influential and recognizable pro-family organization in the nation," continued England. "With such impressive backing, we are certain to gather the signatures necessary to qualify this referendum for the ballot."
"The campaign continues to receive countless phone calls and e-mails form outraged citizens shocked that Governor Schwarzenegger would side with the out-of-touch extremists in the legislature," stated England. "We have never witnessed such a passionate response to any single issue. The people are taking action and fully intend to overturn the radical agenda being pushed on our children."
