Conservatives on the Move

A huge congratulation to Placers own Karen England and Meredith Turney for, just in the last few weeks, starting 4 new California Republican Assembly Clubs.
There are two kinds of people, those who want to be and those who do. The ones who be take a position to warm a seat, pretend to be important (and they are important, just ask them), and they will tell you all the things they do and will do although they never do anything. They have no accomplishments or achievements.
Karen and Meredith are ones who do. They dont seek power or position to have a self-inflated important view of themselves they are important because what they do and accomplish. They dont seek applause; their gratification comes from a job well done. They leave behind a wake of achievements and accomplishments.
Starting these four CRA clubs in Sutter, Tehama, Yolo and Yuba was no easy task; it took lots of work and sacrificial time away from their families. Karen and Meredith would no doubt be a little embarrassed that I am going on like this; however, it is this type of hard work and sacrifice that moves the Conservative cause forward. Karen England and Meredith Turney deserve to he honored!
On top of that work they work for Capitol Resource Institute, and they fight for our families at the Capitol. An example of their success occurred a few weeks ago when a few of the Republicans voted for AJR 29 (part of the homosexual agenda) which supported hate crimes legislation in Washington (HR 1592). Karen and Meredith had a talking with some people and this week they all sent a letter to President Bush retracting their yes vote a U turn. Our wallets and families are much safer with Karen and Meredith in the Capitol.
Good work Karen and Meredith, congratulations on your successes. Thank you for being doers.
