CAGW: Doolittle is "Unfriendly" to Taxpayers

I picked up my mail on Saturday and found the "Government Waste Watch" put out by Citizens Against Government Waste. This issue was entitled the "Congressional Ratings Issue".
I quickly thumbed through it to see how our Congressman John Doolittle fared. Congressman Doolittle received a 23% or "unfriendly" to taxpayers. Had Congressman Doolittle scored 4 points lower, he would have been labeled "hostile" to the taxpayers. The Republican average was 46% and the average big-spending Democrat scored 9%- slightly lower than Congressman Doolittle's score.
By contrast, 3rd CA District Congressman Dan Lungren received a 66%- nearly 3 times higher (better) than Congressman Doolittle.
I went through the votes CAGW used and found Congressman Doolittle voted AGAINST an Estate Tax Reduction (HR 5638). I guess the idea being Congressman Doolittle can't allow taxpayers to keep their own money, he knows better how to spend it than we do.
This Congressional Rating is completely different from the Club for Growth RePORK Card that came out last month and showed Congressman Doolittle's voting record identical to the average big-spending Liberal Democrat.
It is going to be hard for Congressman Doolittle to travel around his district telling people he is a fiscal Conservative when his voting record conclusively shows he votes like a big-spending Liberal Democrat.
Reflecting on the writeup of former Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's new book when he said, " The Republicans in Congress lost their way, they swapped principles for power. They ended up with neither. They deserve to lose." .... kind of makes you wonder who Chairman Greenspan was referring to.

Everyone please check out Doolittle's lifetime score (76%) versus his most recent score (23%). It appears that his reaction to being attacked by Democrats has been to adopt his attackers political philosophy.
Sort of a Political Stockholm Syndrome.
Charlie Brown would score 0% btw...
You are right Aaron. Which is exactly why Doolittle cannot run again for the sake of the nation, the GOP and the district.
