Yuba County supervisor Dan Logue has won backing for the 3rd District state Assembly seat from a conservative group in Nevada County - the backyard of his opponent, Sue Horne.

Logue's endorsement from the Nevada County Citizens for Responsible Government comes on the heels of others from regional GOP heavyweights, including Sen. Sam Aanestad of Grass Valley, current Assemblyman Rick Keene and former assemblyman Tim Leslie. Logue and Horne both are seeking the Republican nomination for Keene's seat.

(Updated) Also notice that one of the new endorsements reported on by Sue Horne was from an Assemblymember whose Consultant is also Johnson-Clark. (The real point here is not just the consultants, but out of district endorsements whose impact are minimal. It is also nice to know that the consultants and campaigns are reading this blog)

It seems to me that Logue is clearly in the driver's seat in AD3.
