Phil is a small business person, who owns and operates a local moving company in Sarasota, Florida. He worked in banking at Bank of America for 14 years developing programs, mostly in real estate, and assisted with the automation of .banking services in the 1970s. He later was responsible for the Corporate Bond Trading System and moved to Minnesota to work for the trading system vendor assisting many of the countries top 200 banks with trading systems. He became entreprenurial and moved to Florida in 1992 and has been self employed for almost 20 years. He is an author and a patriotic participant in local politics in Sarasota, Florida. His popularity is growing and he ranks in the Top 10 nationwide due to his increasing list of followers. His insightful commentary and his casual, entertaining approach to political reporting makes Phil unique in the world of political writing. He can be both serious and humorous depending upon the issue.
Phil is active in the community and has developed a volunteer program, “You Can Count on Me,” to tutor first and second grade students in math using a unique approach to raise the ability of our young children who will never grow up saying, “I don’t do math,” an expression that is way too common today.

Cut taxes, cut spending or both?
If we don't get this deficit going in the opposite direction we are doomed. We have to become more competitive by reducing corporate taxes and decreasing spending. The Fair Tax will reach those who are exempt through a perverted tax code and allow everyone the honor of paying for what they use. No representation without some form of taxation. Stimulus rebates is not participation.
