Have you noticed that Deric Rothe and the Auburn Journal have stopped pimping Charlie Brown?

As of 6/10/2009 - the era of Mahlberg has begun. Mahlberg is a blast from the past - Mahlberg was the aggressive pro-choice activist liberal Democrat that was bum-rushed by John Doolittle years ago.

Apparently, the uniform gag didn't do the trick... time to pick a different face for the opposition.

There is another angle - Liberal Republican and hardcore environmentalist Robert Weygandt is connected to Joanne Neft and Pat Mahlberg through a series of eco-groups in Placer County... it could also be possible that Weygandt is setting her up to run for sup district 2.

Apparently, the Sierra Club wants better control of the Placer Board of Supes.

Will Mahlberg run for Supervisor or Congress??? My bet is congress and Colonel Klink is under the bus.
