Madison Nguyen and the recall effort

For elected officials who have lost their way and abused their power, the ultimate consequence is being recalled.
It is the ultimate form of democracy.
That is why regardless of what side wins the battle tonight up in San Jose, the real winners will hopefully be the residents of San Jose.
Madison Nguyen tried naming the Story Road area Vietnam Town Business District to benefit Lap Tang, owner of Vietnam Town Mall. When she was exposed, she claimed support for the name Saigon Business District over the name, Little Saigon. She then tried to put the matter on the ballot at a cost of almost 3 Million dollars. That too was a no-go.
Tonight the many mis-steps of Madison Nguyen will either cost her her job, or they will allow the residents of San Jose to elect a more responsible, trustworthy and ethical public official.
