From an article posted yesterday on TheHill.com:

Jon Walker is listed as a partner for EVAS Worldwide, a New Jersey-based aircraft safety company, and gave $19,000 to lawmakers as an EVAS employee, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. That is more than 40 percent of the political contributions from the company's employees overall.

Yet Walker has never worked at the small company, and EVAS's senior executive does not know him.

"I have no idea who Mr. Walker is," said George Reenstra, president of EVAS Worldwide, after reviewing the campaign finance records faxed to him by The Hill.

EVAS was a client of the PMA Group, a former powerhouse on K St. that has rapidly disintegrated in the wake of an FBI raid of its offices in November. Campaign contributions by PMA Group associates reportedly have fallen under federal investigation.

Walker was a director for the PMA Group and gave money to several lawmakers as a PMA employee, according to FEC records.

And who was among the recipients of Mr. Walker's largess: OC's own Rep. Loretta Sanchez:

Walker's donations as an EVAS employee are dated from June 2005 to October 2008. As an EVAS partner, Walker gave to a number of lawmakers, including $4,000 to Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), $3,500 to Rep. Chet Edwards (D-Texas) and $3,000 to Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.).

According to TheHill.com, several congressmembers have returned the contributions. Will Loretta?
