Irivine "publisher' making news in Monterey

Frank Lunding played a large role in last year's Irvine city council election as the publisher
of the "Irvine Community News and Views," a weekly campaign mailer for Larry Agran that pretended to be a newspaper. Not content with making up news in Irvine,  Frank has been making news in his hometown of Carmel Valley as well.

Recently, Frank has filed a lawsuit to prevent Carmel Valley from incorporating as a city after the Local Agency Formation Commission had already voted to allow incorporation.   As reported by the Monterey County Weekly, Carmel Valley Forum Secretary Mike McMillan says "[Frank Lunding] sounds like someone who is trying to sabotage or undermine the process rather than someone who has a legitimate legal complaint with the incorporation effort."

Frank wasn't particularly forthcoming about who provided the quarter-million dollars for his Irvine publication, therefore I am not surprised that Frank told the Monterey County Weekly "I can't reveal our supporters."
