DeVore wraps up key California GOP endorsements

IRVINE, Calif., Nov 26, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Chuck DeVore, a California lawmaker who represents 500,000 people in coastal Orange County, today announced several key endorsements of his candidacy for the United States Senate seat currently held by liberal Democrat Barbara Boxer. Boxer's term is up in 2010. The list of GOP endorsements includes State Senator, and now U.S. Representative-elect, Tom McClintock, a leading voice among California conservatives, former Senate Republican Leader Dick Ackerman, and Board of Equalization Member and former legislator, Bill Leonard.
