Penrose Ballot Issue Settled

There won't be a hearing today on the lawsuit against Dana Point council candidate Lou Penrose. All parties have agreed he'll be designated on the ballot as follows:
How will this impact Lou's prospects for victory? I'm not sure. Voters aren't accustomed to seeing candidates with an "AKA" after their name on the ballot. It has a slightly shady connotation, so it certainly won't gain Lou any votes. Whether it will lose him votes, and how many, is a good question.
While there's some potential for voter confusion and the Penrose campaign may want to integrate some plan for dealing with it into their campaign strategy, I think Dana Point voters are smart enough to figure it out.
Lou Penrose (AKA Luigi Rossetti, Jr.)No attorneys fees will be awarded.

2008 Elections, Dana Point

Don't really care about the name, but who is this guy? The election if two months out and no website, flyers, or other info about WHY he should be on the city council. Are we just suppose to blindly vote for him? Who does he think he is - Barrak Obama?

Thanks for the info.
Kind of heavy on the out of town endorsements. His website is also light on his agenda - "where's the beef?"
Is this guy following Harkey's path - get on the council just long enough to run for a higher office?
