Palin On Deck

Here's a great passage from the speech she'll give:
"Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a 'community organizer,' except that you have actual responsibilities."That one is going to hang in the media air for while. I hope the Obama campaign keeps taking the bait and trying to compare Obama's experience to that of the No.2 on the GOP ticket.

what's going to hang around even more is the YouTube video of Peggy Noonan dissing Palin after writing that glowing WSJ column about her today. I'm amazed how when the red light is on, the right wingers are so on message but when they think the mic is dead, they tell the truth. Truth is they think Palin is weak.
"but this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or even a reform not even in the state senate."
Can you say, ouch?
I Think I Love Her
Outstanding.
Kennedy. Reagan. Palin.
GO SARAH!
Celebrity Spotting -
There was a brake away from Palin’s speech on CNN to show Matt and Laura Cunningham in the California delegation looking thoughtful.

That's plain wrong; check his record. Very disingenuous on Palin's part, but since she didn't write the speech, I'm sure she didn't check the facts.
Don't believe everything someone in a skirt says.
OC in the know:
You are right! Obama DID lead the effort on the "Democratic Republic of the Congo Relief, Security, and Democracy Promotion Act."
And I understand how those with family, personal, or even business ties to the Congo would consider that “major legislation.”
But other than that – his record in the US Senate is a giant goose egg. “Sponsoring” a bill in the Senate is not necessarily leading. Often, and particularly in the case of Senator Obama, it means adding your name to a list that already includes a majority of your other colleagues after the legislative train has left the proverbial station.
Obama’s supporters are making a valiant attempt at mustering enough righteous indignation to trump the facts, but it just isn’t going to work this time.
