Lincoln Club Issues Its Endorsements List

The Lincoln Club of Orange County wrapped up its endorsement process this weekend -- the subject of some buzz in local GOP circles -- and has posted its list of endorsements.

I noticed some instances of the Lincoln Club endorsing against incumbents. For example, in the Municipal Water District of Orange County Division 7 race, the Club has endorsed Mike Whipple against incumbent Director Susan Hinman.
As I recall, Hinman was an executive assistant to former Supervisor Tom Riley many moons ago. Former EAs never die...they simply fade away into special districts or the county Health Care Agency.
Whipple is termed off the Laguna Niguel City Council this year, and presumably isn't prepared to give up being a local elected official yet.
