Yorba Linda City Council Race Update

The race is surprisingly quiet at this time with only two candidates having pulled papers at this point:
Hank Wedaa- Has been on and off the City Council for a very long time. This man is the prime example of a career politician. If he does win this election it will be his last term as a result of a fairly new term limit policy.
Michael Marien- A software consultant who is not extremely well known in the Yorba Linda area amongst the people that I have spoken with. I think that he will have a tough time getting votes should a few more candidates pop up.
Neither Jim Winder or Alan Castellano have pulled papers yet which surprises me becuse they are the two other incumbents.
I have also heard that Doug Dickerson will be running again this election as he did quite well back when he ran in 2006. I believe he was the police chief of Brea at one point as well.

I've known Michael Marien for quite some time. His residence is near the Nixon Library and he would be an excellent candidate to represent the conservative viewpoint with a keen mind towards creative improvements for our lives in Yorba Linda. Make it a point to meet and get to know Mr. Marien. In your first meeting, you will see he is a unique individual with a keen wit.
