Deputy DA Debra Carrillo got the early hometown press in Laguna Beach this weekend with and expose in the Laguna Beach Independent.

Carrillo has set herself on another uphill climb: she survived a June heat among four candidates vying for a position on the county's Superior Court. She came in first among the four, yet lacked the 51 percent majority needed to win. In November, Carrillo faces another test, a run-off against attorney Kermit Marsh, a Westminster councilman and chairman of Garden Grove Hospital.

She's my pick to win. I haven't heard much from the Marsh campaign since it was reported that he violated reporting requirements on over a dozen occassions.
Why would Marsh run for a seat? This could cost a lot of money with the outcome in doubt.
With his service to the party over the years, why couldn't he get an appointment from Arnold?
If Arnold were more than just a RINO, yes he would appoint Kermit to a judgeship!!
