Senate Tribute To Dick Ackerman

It's well worth reading.
Orange County has been lucky to have Dick Akcerman in the state Senate, and we're are going to miss him. Dare we hope a Supervisor Ackerman is in the offing?

We need fresh blood. Thanks for serving and all, but let's refresh the party a bit, eh? Supervisor, shmupervisor
Thank you Senator Ackerman for the honesty and integrity you brought to Sacramento. I sincerely hope you do consider serving in a County Supervisor Role - your honesty, integrity and wisdom would serve the OC well.
I agree with the first poster. Ackerman was lackluster at best as a Senator, selling out Republican principals for backroom deals with liberal former Senator Joe Dunn and the like. He also ran a carpet-bagging liberal RINO to replace the termed-out Dunn which is why we lost a great opportunity to take back the 34th SD last election cycle. I for one do not want to see him or his wife being recycled into anything else. I know more than a few who would strongly oppose any run for Supervisor by Ackerman. They've had their 15 minutes of fame, now it's time to please go away so we can rebuild our Party with solid Republican leaders.
