OCYRs v. OCYDs Charity Softball Game On Saturday

This came over the transom today from the OC young Republicans:
Orange County Young Republicans will play softball against the Orange County Young Democrats Saturday August 16th all in the name of Charity.OC Register columnist Frank Mickadeit will umpire. Will Frank call balls and strikes while simultaneously smoking expensive stogies and drinking top-shelf liquor? You'll have to show up and see for yourself.

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Before you head out to the Obama and McCain Forum at Saddleback Church this Saturday, The Orange County Young Republicans invite you to attend the first ever Softball for charity event against the Orange County Young Democrats, Saturday August 16, 2008. Official game time is 11:30 a.m. at Portola Park, 1700 East Santa Clara, and Santa Ana, 92705 (off of Santa Clara and Grand)
Show your party spirit by supporting The Young Republicans this Saturday as they sweat for charity. Donations are welcome. $250 dollars will be donated to the charity of the winning teams' choice. Any additional proceeds raised by OCYR will be donated to Yellow Ribbon America (a military family support organization). Be sure to wear Red in support of OCYR!
